psychic.saphie@gmail.com"Recently, I was pretty sure who I was. Just an ordinary kid dealing with embarassing parents, and a nosy big sister... the girl I have a huge crush on.
...And the huge bully that wants to crush me.
But ever since high school started, the kid I thought I knew is starting to disappear..."

(He's a Phantom)
Yo Danny Fenton, he was just fourteen
When his parents built a very strange machine
Designed to view a world unseen
(He's gonna catch 'em all cuz he's Danny Phantom)
When it didn't quite work his folks, they just quit
But then Danny took a look inside of it
There was a great big flash, everything just changed
His molecules got all rearranged!
(Phantom, Phantom)
When he first woke up
He realized, he had snow white hair and glowing green eyes
He could walk through walls, disappear, and fly!
He was much more unique than the other guy!
It was then that he knew what he had to do
He had to stop all the ghosts that were coming through
He's here to fight for me and you!
(He's gonna catch 'em all cuz he's Danny Phantom)
(He's gonna catch 'em all cuz he's Danny Phantom)
Gonna catch them all cuz he's Danny Phantom.

Danny Fenton was your average fourteen year-old-boy, awkward, not the greatest student, and hung daily from the school flagpole by his underwear thanks to the school jocks.
He was, that is, until his ghost-hunter parents' newest invention, the Fenton Ghost Portal, imbued him with otherworldly powers. Now Danny is half-ghost, able to transform into a ghost-like being, capable of phasing through solid objects, going invisible, blasting ecto beams from his hands, fly, and emitting a terrible sonic ghostly wail, capable of destroying things and stunning his enemies. When ghosts are around, a white fog comes out of his mouth, and there are plenty of ghosts around.
He’s taken up the name “Danny Phantom” for his crime-fighting, and is amazed that as yet, no one has figured out the correlation between ‘Fenton’ and ‘Phantom.’
Danny’s enemies are no picnic to deal with. He has to put away countless ghosts that escape from the Ghost Zone and keep them from preying on--and terrifying--an unknowing populace. Some have a rather personal score to settle with him, such as his arch-nemesis Vlad Plasmius, and Skulker, a ghost who prides himself on being a great hunter. He has to fight nearly every day--all while hiding his secret (especially from his paranoid, ghost-hunting parents), keeping his grades from dropping, overcoming his own inherent laziness, and dealing with bullies.
Danny would be your typical teen superhero, if it weren’t for two minor facts: one, he regularly gets his ass handed to him. Rarely, unless he’s fighting a minor ghost like the Box Ghost, does Danny get to have the upper hand. Two, his two best friends--self-confident, sarcastic, reasonable goth Sam (who he unconsciously harbors a bit of a thing for), and intelligent, geeky, techie Tucker--go far beyond the call of friendship, and even sidekickery, and help him save the day regularly. Even more than that, they keep him grounded, and help him through the regular highs and lows in mood he has, caused by both his normal teenage life, and his rather insane superhero one. It’s rather easy for them to do so as they--and his sister Jazz--are the only ones that know his secret.
Danny seems mostly average upon first glance. He’s not very intelligent, scrawny, prone to mood swings, and horrible at math. But he’s surprisingly tenacious (and very stubborn), and in many a fight he has kept going until he was barely clinging to consciousness, or even life. He’s also highly resourceful, and a better situational thinker than a book-learned one, and once something gets through his rather dense head it usually sticks, meaning that once he’s learned an important lesson (which he does nearly every episode), he doesn’t have to learn it again. He’s very moody, prone to being overconfident one moment and having no confidence at all with the drop of a hat, both in his superhero-ing and real life. While he’ll rarely run from a fight, he can be easily discouraged, and will continue fighting with the mindset that he’s going to fail. Danny is prone to being extremely, if slightly cornily, sarcastic, and throws off many one-liners while fighting, some of which are good, and some of which...well, make it seem as if he should read fewer comic books.
His parents want him to go into the ghost-hunting business, but Danny, whose room is adorned with models, has aspirations of being an astronaut.
Since he first came to Milliways bar, he's been Bound, unBound, betrayed by a friend, turned evil by a witch, kept trapped in a shielded room, had a rescue party go inside his own head, turned good again, become an honorary Ghostbuster, helped rescue a friend from the wilderness, and kicked government ass.
Since he first came into Apharsites, Danny's been captured by aliens, drugged, infested with alien larvae multiple times, given up on superheroing, lost a friend because of it, been rescued, beaten up by an alien-vampire, captured again, and forced to undergo various experiments.
It's hard to tell which has had a better deal.

Danny is a fourteen-year-old boy with black hair and blue eyes, and can only be described as "scrawny." When he goes ghost, his black and white jumpsuit appears (with logo comprised of the initials DP on it), his hair turns white, and his eyes turn a glowing green.
